| My grandmother, Minnie Bruce Arnett Milam is the originator
of much of the information in this website. My memories of her are
those of a woman focused on learning as much as possible about her
forbearers. We used to call her Mrs. Roosevelt because she spent so much time on the road checking out court records. Where ever she traveled and lived, her trunk full of "ancestors" went with her. At some point, I became the lucky recipient of the information she collected through tedious searches of court records and many letters to potential kin. How delighted she would be with the information available to us today through this amazing medium. She shared her research generously and this ethic is carried forth in this website. This information is for those searching for ancestors to use freely provided that it is kept free to the public. |
